Scott R. Vaughn, PE is veteran of the United States Marine Corps from 1981 to 1984 who spent time during 1985 to 1998 designing and constructing residential and commercial swimming pools along with water features throughout Florida. During Mr. Vaughn’s time in the residential and commercial swimming pool industry, he obtained a State Certified Florida Commercial Pool Contractors license and Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida. Mr. Vaughn worked as an Office Manager and Engineer for CPH Engineers in Cape Coral, Florida from 1998 to 2000, designing and engineering sites for clients such as Wal-Mart, McDonalds and AutoZone throughout Florida and Puerto Rico. The site design process and engineering required specialties in site utilities, storm water, hydraulics, hydrology and site grading.

Mr. Vaughn returned to the commercial pool industry in 2001 as a General Manager and Qualify Engineer for Certified Pool Mechanics, Inc. who’s responsibilities included overseeing and managing sales, design, engineering, permitting and construction of community pools and water features, aquatic centers, golf coarse water features and elevated water bodies on structures.

After 2004, Mr. Vaughn left Certified Pool Mechanics, Inc. to venture on his own specializing in design and engineering of numerous water bodies and aquatic features along with their appurtenances throughout Florida, North America and the Caribbean, which is continued today.
